Exams are like thank God it's over. And my bro's already gone back to Aussie. Time really passed by so fast. Bro came back, exams came, CNY came, gone, exams gone, bro gone. How fast. And now, got to look towards attachment. My driving test is coming. And oh my gosh. its quite scary. Seriously. It is. I think Kai know how i feel! Hope i can be like her. Jumping up and down and screaming in joy. haha.
I haven't really been smiling much. Can't smile. Tough period going thru and i know i have to learn to be strong. As much as i feel like i'll break down, i know i have to keep going. Please do pray for me. I need strength. This little girl here is still trying to learn new things and gain perspective in life from people. Never knew being in a relationship was like this. Dont you ever wonder what happened to all those fairytales? What happens after the 'and they lived happily ever after?'
Did Cinderella get preg? Did prince charming had a beer belly? Did they argue? Did Prince Charming continued to be as loving as he is in the stories? i dont know. No one knows. But do you wonder? Oh God. Where are you? Why you leaving me alone this point of period where i dearly need you?

Oh my gosh! Time really passes so fast! Its already 22nd Feb! Tmr's going to be my last paper and boy am i so nervous! Im looking forward to it, but yet not really. Cause its an official countdown of 6 days to my driving test!! *faints*
As Lent approaches, i've learnt new thing. My perspective of Fr Yeo has changed. You know, we used to like hate the way he disturbed us, or cant stand the way he makes fun of us and like dont support the youth group. And all his *ahem ahem* always. C'mon. I know you are like nodding in front of your screen. But yea. As time went by and his health decorates, i really give respect to him.
Just 2 days ago, had a chat with dad while mum was at Giant shopping. Was chatting with dad about priests and he mentioned that he really give all respect to Fr Yeo. And i asked him why. He said that the day that my late grandfather was like in semi-coma, he was the same day he was going to admit in Mt A. And before he went to admit himself, he actually dropped by my late grandfather's ward to pray over him, even though he was in great pain. And the day that my late grandfather had his funeral mass in church, though he just got discharged from the hospital, he came to celebrate the mass. And even followed us to the Mandai cremation place. Only then after, he could not take the pain anymore and he asked an uncle to send him to the hospital.
Hearing this, i really salute him. Even now, though he aint the parish priest anymore, yet his care and concern for the parishioners is still there. Now when i see him, he'll tell me "Valerie, long time no see arh. I havent seen you around for so long. I thought you dont want this church already." In the past i guess if i were to hear that, i would just like ignore? But then now when i hear it, i dont know why, it feels and seems that he's concern. Dad said that even though he's quite a direct priest in his words, but he actually doesnt mean any harm. Its just the way he's being straightforward. He's really someone who's totally sacrificed himself for God. And he did a great job being the parish priest. Dont you agree with me?
For now, i really salute him. Even though he may not be the parish priest anymore, i still respect him. Lent's about reconciliation isnt it? Let this season of Lent, may you reconcile with those whom you've yet to reconcile with. (:

Happy Chinese New Year to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its the 3rd day of CNY! and i realised, as you get older, you just get lazier to go out to 'bai nian'. haha. It's like after 2 days of going around to 'bai nian'.. i just want to like stay at home. I dont mind if people come.. but then nono.. i dont want to go out anymore. haha.
Today had guests coming over.. so did dear. He came over to 'bai nian'. Ate lunch and then we went over to his place so that i could 'bai nian' to his parents too. We wanted to catch movie. but it was just so impossible. Like totally. It was like packed almost everywhere! Gosh! So home we went.
Over the 2 days of going around.. i realised that im quite scared that in future i'll be like old and like damn forgetful. Here was a conversation between Chris's grandma and my bro when we went to his place to 'bai nian'. Of course conversation was in chinese la. This is translated to english.
Grandma: Wah Songkai (my bro), graduated already arh.
Bro: No la.. havent yet. Still got 1 more year.
Grandma: So fast hor. Last time still so young.. run here run there with Chris.
So the conversation ended there.. and we were all just chatting and stuff. then suddenly, Chris grandma sat next to my bro and said..
Grandma: Wah Songkai, graduated already arh.
Bro (looking surprised): No la. havent yet. still got 1 more year.
Grandma: So fast hor. Songkai grow up so fast. Last time still run here and there..
Ok. twice. We ate goodies.. chit chat with Chris's bro.. then suddenly, grandma appeared next to my bro again..
Grandma: Wah Songkai. Graduated already arh.
Bro (looking confused): No la. Havent yet. Still got 1 more year.
Grandma: So fast ar time flies. Last time still so small. now so big already.
Ok. This is getting quite interesting. But its ok. My bro and i thought that it was over. Nope. it didnt. Here came the 4th time! She sat behind my bro.. then suddenly she pat my bro's shoulder while he was talking to Chris bro.
Grandma: Wah Songkai, graduated already arh.
Bro (almost bursting out laughing): No la. Havent yet. Still got 1 more year.
Grandma: So fast hor. Songkai now so big already. Graduated already must come back and see me arh.
oooooooook. hahha. By this time. i almost laughed out loud. Chris bro also noticed and he was like giggling. ok. thought that was bad enough? Nope. Just as we were leaving. Here came the 5th time!

Had a really great time yesterday! Was my Valentine's Day celebration part 2!
I literally nua-ed at home until when i met dear.. and off we went! to.. Chinatown!!! (: Like what Lyn said, go and soak up the atmosphere! haha. If you havent been to Chinatown during CNY, GO!!!! Its a really a different experience!
Our first stop was to... Chinatown's Hawker Center. The original one is under renovation.. so currently, the temporary one is opposite SGH. We ate our default food! 'Peng He!!!' (BBQ stingray) and it was shiioooooook! We also ordered 'Ou lua' as appetizer. Yums! After eating, we started walking down towards main area of Chinatown, where its the most happening place! Took some pictures of the place, and then we walked into the crowd.. where it was literally "people mountain, people sea" aka.. Ren Shan Ren Hai. haha.
Then we were caught in our 1st human jam. And guess what! There we saw, Michelle Chia and Xu Zhen Rong. They were like preparing to film something. Dear said they doing sound check for today. Boy you should have seen her face. So black! And there were like tons of people like surrounding them to take pictures of them that it was so hard to move! Just as we squeezed our way thru.. we saw the 3rd Artist! Huang Wen Yong! haha. he was with his daughter, looking at who are the stars. and dear concluded that he was trying to see who are the 'suay' stars. haha.
We walked thru everywhere.. you just move along with the crowd.. saw alot of people selling things that were like real cheap. Gosh. You should have seen how these people were selling. It was quite a scene. haha. Esp where those stalls that sell candies? Suppose to be you fill a bag of candies.. then they weigh and charge you according? But cause as the crowd came, and competition arise, the sales become quite funny. and those promoters, what they said were quite hilarious. This aunty said.. "Come arh come arh! I now sell plastic bag arh! 1 bag $5 arh. I dont sell sweets now arh.. i now sell plastic bags arh!" So apparently, you pay $5, get a bag from her, and you can fill whatever sweets you want to the brim. Then a few stalls down.. you hear this man saying "Come arh come arh... 1 bag $5 arh... i tell you how much i used to sell 1 bag for arh.. i bag $28 arh.. now only $5 arh.." i think he's quite CMI already.. haha. 1 bag $28 quite kua zhang right? Then as we were walking.. we bumped into, Vanessa and Nicholas from Amp! and we just kept walking and walking. till it was like 11? Had a lot of fun. (:
Today is just a day of rotting.. was reading my sis's 17 mag. and saw this article about healthy food. And here's something i found out about Salmon. It contains omega 3 acids that defends against a host of mental health diseases such as dementia, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder! And i was wondering, why dont they use Salmon on the IMH patients?? Hmmm.....

It was much fun last night with Flo. Thanks for all your help again. We had fun. Using different real life analogies to help with my revision for today's paper. I guess the analogy that we liked most was the one where Winston came to place? hahaha. Grins at Flo.
CMI-ness came into place when we started talking about spa, yoga, retail shopping as therapies to help those mental ill patients. haha. What a joke. But we had fun! (: not forgetting when all the "mahjong"??? haha..
Anyway, paper today was ooooook. I felt like i was working really slowly though. Took like almost 2 hours to complete my paper. WAH! haha. That's unusal if you ask Nurse Gang.
After paper, came home and Zzz. was so tired and giddy. But! I had the best Valentine's day! After my 2 hour nap, woke and studied. Dear called. Said he was doing some packing at school and said will call me later.. which was about... 8.15pm? Then he said he was leaving sch already, said he'll drop by accompany me go walk walk. So he came.. and when i met him downstairs, he surprised me with my 'Shilin Ji Pa' and my Sweetalk 'Nai Cha'!!! And not only that!! Baccon Ba kua too!! I know it sounds damn sinful. haha.
We went to my house area the playground there, there's this like podium thingy, we sat there, talked and ate our food! Though it wasnt some romantic environment, but Dear's surprise really made me night / day. It was like simply the best Valentine's Day i've spent. It was just so sweet of him. Love him. Was simple and i was already very contented. But dear said, we'll spend a proper one on friday. (: Yay!!!!
Now i've got more motivation to chiong for tmr's paper!! (:

Flowers makes your day. Dont you agree?
I received my Valentine's Day flowers early this morning. It's so sweet. 1 Sunflower and 6 pink tulips around it. Love it. Thank you dear!
Doesnt it look lovely? Esp with the wrapping paper which is like baby blue colour, it makes the
whole bouquet look so sweeet. Love it! It sure made my day. (:
Tmr's valentine's day already. but wont be celebrating cause i've got a paper on thurs. But its ok. cause dear said we go celebrate on fri! (: And that's good enough. Im looking forward to it.. Books!! Here i come!

This is really irritating me to the max!
I cant concentrate on my studies! Its madness! Help!!! I cant wait for this weekend to come! At least i know that i have already gone thru 2 of my papers. and im only left with 1? *sigh*
Management.. Mental Health.. Psychological... all the different disorders. I love Nursing. But i hate the theory part! It's just my luck if i do badly and i cant make it to be a Nurse. I really hate this. I really want to be a nurse. But why do we have to study so much nonsense that doesnt help! Seriously, they should do something to the modules we're doing. Rah!!!!

Exams are just draining my social life away.. I miss my friends. I miss so many people! I miss my babes whom i havent seen for the longest time!! Hope you all are doing good. I miss Kailing!! Where are you!!! When can we go out? *sigh* and they all say, after exams, you can enjoy. Nonsense. I've got attachment! Oh my goodness.
I cant concentrate on my studies! Its madness! Help!!! I cant wait for this weekend to come! At least i know that i have already gone thru 2 of my papers. and im only left with 1? *sigh*
Management.. Mental Health.. Psychological... all the different disorders. I love Nursing. But i hate the theory part! It's just my luck if i do badly and i cant make it to be a Nurse. I really hate this. I really want to be a nurse. But why do we have to study so much nonsense that doesnt help! Seriously, they should do something to the modules we're doing. Rah!!!!

Finally changed my blog... i like this.

Anyway, yesterday after getting my laptop. Met dear. went for mass. Then we wanted to go blend in with the crowd at Chinatown. But parking was so impossible. So we went to The Central. Which is near Chinatown too! The concept reminds me of The Cathay though. Oh wells. We bought his mum's present. And we ate Pepper Lunch.. And drank very shiok 'nai cha' and thick toast at Man Jia Le. It was sooooo.... shiok.
Valentine's Day coming.. Are you excited? Oh man im not. Cause it's my exam day. Our first paper. how nice.. I know Ngee Ann people would be enjoying themselves by then. Sigh. Oh wells... Driving test is coming soon too.. Aint helping how i feel. RAHH!!
